💙 Royal Blue Handwoven Double Katan Chauvari Jamewar | Shagun Collection
Where grace meets texture.
From Ayanti’s Shagun Collection, this handwoven saree is crafted to make hearts turn and moments linger. Woven by UP’s master artisans, it blends comfort, heritage, and elegance in every thread.
A Masterpiece of Heritage Weaving.
A masterpiece of heritage weaving, this CHAUVARI JAMEWAR saree is adorned with intricate paisley, floral motifs and chiraiya motifs in silk — reminiscent of royal Kashmiri artistry. The deep blue canvas with emerald and silver undertones brings alive the richness of old-world craftsmanship, lending a regal yet serene grace to every drape.
The term “Chauvari” (or sometimes “Chauvari Jamewar”) traditionally refers to a weave that uses four distinct colours of thread in the warp and weft, creating a richly layered and multidimensional effect. What makes it truly special is the intricate weaving technique — so refined that it’s hard to distinguish the front from the back of the saree. Each piece takes over 2–3 months to weave, crafted patiently by one of the few remaining master weavers who still preserve this age-old technique.
